a long time, copper offers a very vast field of
applications due to its unique polyvalence. The
latter is based on the excellent electrical and
thermal conductivities, the high corrosion resistance,
the very high ductility and finally the environmental
and human compatibility of copper.
The
copper is essentially used as a “transporter”
for electricity, data, liquids. This is why copper
is intimately bound to our history through the fundamental
roles it has played in the development of the electrical
industry and also in the recent technological computer
and digital revolutions.
The
applications of copper covers almost all modern
economic activities from traditional parts and equipment
to the most advanced high technological systems.
Despite
their innumerable applications, copper and copper
alloys are still far from being well known by their
users.
This
lack of knowledge and awareness
of the possibilities that could fill the gap, led
us to create CopperCEEF,
the first private European company specialised in
Engineering, Consulting, Investigation, Expertise
and Training for metallurgy and surface treatments
of copper and copper alloys.
